• Dates: November 20 2020, 1 - 4:30 p.m.
• Location: Online via Zoom

Procedure

Materials for self-learning will be made available on November 13th via Moodle. On November 17th and 19th two Q&As will take place via zoom - more if necessary and by arrangement. The final event (online via Zoom) will take place on November 20, 2020. Participants will discuss and present several small tasks for which they will give and receive feedback. The time required for preparation is estimated at around 1 - 1.5 day(s).

Register

Please send your an application via email. Attach a short letter including your experience as being a tutor so far, and in what course you are/will be tutoring. The course will take place if 4 tutors apply. The maximum number of participants is set to 6. Application deadline is November 8th 2020.

Content

Primarily for tutors in Media Informatics and students who want to become one in future semesters. Our goal is to continuously improve teaching at our institute. Possible to receive 3 ECTS in Module "Persönliche und soziale Kompetenzen". More information soon. Overview of the course content:

• Presentation skills
• Online interactive teaching methods
• Communication techniques
• Exchange of experience with other tutors

Course assessment

To receive 3 ECTS points you need to finish an additional teaching-related project.
