Contents
The goal of this course is:
- to provide an overview of technologies that can be used to support (collaborative) learning
- to deliver insight into the development process of such computer applications and
- to establish an understanding of effects that different types of technologies have on collaborative processes.
Target audience: participants of the Doctoral Training Program (DTP) of the Learning Sciences

Day 1 | Getting to know technologies for collaborative learning |

11:00-16:00 | Practical experiments with prototypes in small groups (including 1 hour lunch break) |
16:00-17:00 | Discussion about experience with prototypes |
Day 2 | How to design new collaborative learning applications |

9:15-10:00 | Lecture on effects of different display types on collaborative processes (slides) |
10:00-15:00 | Development of ideas on how to support a specific collaborative learning scenario using technologies (including 1 hour lunch break) |
15:00-17:00 | Discussion of solutions and lessons learned |
