I am a research assistant and PhD candidate at the Media Informatics Group at the University of Munich (LMU). My research interest lies in the field of usable security and privacy. In particular, in the exploration of usbale and secure authentication schemes that are based on autobiographical memories and that users can fall back to when they forget their PINs or passwords on their smartphones.
During my time as a PhD I also worked in a european ICT-project that explored new ways to enhance the current Internet with a content-centric, publish-subscribe model that is based on a common container for all kinds of digital content. My role in this project focused on the formal description of use cases, the implementation of prototype applications and their evaluation with focus groups and user studies.
Research Interests
- Usable Security and Privacy
- Fallback Authentication
- Autobiogrpahical Memory
- Interaction on Smartphones
