Focus: Implementation.
You will:
- Review literature on shared XR environments and managing private and shared content
- Design and implement different data sharing mechanisms for shared XR
- Conduct a user study to evaluate the different designs
- Analyze the designs, e.g. in regards to usability, feeling of control over data, transparency of what is shared with others,...
- Summarize findings in a thesis and (optionally) contribute to a research publication
- Present your work in the Disputationsseminar of Prof. Dr. Florian Alt
You need:
- Interest in usable privacy, HCI and XR environments
- Programming skills, ideally previous experience with Unity
