Open Positions as HiWi and Working Student

We are looking for working students to support projects centered around haptics and extended reality (XR). Our research focuses on how to enrich the haptic experience of novel XR systems, from the psychological basics on how haptic perception works and can be influenced, to how we can employ this to enhance virtual environments or support real-life scenarios. Your work may involve:

Building Hardware Prototypes: For example, building novel haptic devices controlled by microcontrollers (Arduino/Raspberry Pi).
Developing Software Solutions: Building Virtual & Augmented Reality applications for the Vive/Quest/HoloLens/VisionPro using Unity3D (C#).
Conducting Studies: Designing and Running Experimental User Studies evaluating prototypes or investigating haptic phenomenon.
