7. Summary

a) Write a summary (300-400 words) of the lectures on "Capabilities of Humans, Machines".

b) Determine the comfortable viewing distance for a poster in a bus shelter (measure it!). What minimum resolution should the poster have, considering the resolution of the human eye? What is the actual resolution (approximately)?

8. Research Papers

Read the following papers and summarize them (200-300 words each)

Write a short essay on the design of scientific papers, covering the following points. Use the papers you read as a reference.

general structure of a scientific paper
length of sentences, paragraphs
precision of numbers mentioned
precision of language
claims and proofs
references and citations
